HOW TO: Find where a serial was activated

If you have to release a serial that was previously activated on a computer, simply log in to the "Softron License Manager" platform.

Once logged in, check the status badge. It should say "In use" and will be either:

• YELLOW, with the computer name between brackets, this means that it was last activated using the new activation system
• ORANGE, with a MAC address between brackets. This means that it was last activated using the old activation system (we did not retrieve the computer name in the old activation system)

Note that you can also see the computer name or MAC address, as well as a history in the detail view (click on the 3 dots icon):

You can then go to the computer and check the activation status there.
